The Office of Career Development

Welcome to the Office of Career Development.  As a member of the Naropa community, you are likely called to our mission to "meet the world as it is and change it for the better."  The Office of Career Development is here to help you step into this vision.  We are committed to assisting you in making good academic and career decisions and finding meaningful ways to engage in service within your community.  Career development begins with identifying what resonates with your deepest levels of integrity.  It means following your heart, your intuition, and your calling. It means finding your unique contribution to the world and moving in that direction with commitment, purpose, and dedication.  We are here to help you:

  • Explore your interests, values, skills and strengths
  • Learn how to access your whole self in your career decision making process
  • Cultivate confidence and trust in your career journey
  • Identify potential academic and career paths
  • Identify and engage in service and volunteer opportunities
  • Develop internship and job search strategies
  • Plan your graduate school or other educational application process
  • Learn to write effective cover letters and resumes
  • Prepare for the interview process
