How many credits is this program worth?
Students will earn a total of 15 credits during the Bhutan Study Abroad program. 
Are these credits transferable to my home school?
All credits earned will be recorded on a transcript from Naropa University, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
How do these credits apply to my degree?
Naropa Students:  Credits earned while studying in Bhutan may be applied as elective credits, core areas requirements or may count towards your major credits. Please check with your advisor for questions on specific courses.  
Visiting Students: Please check with your advisor to ensure how the credits will be applied toward your degree requirements.
Credits and Graduation (Naropa students only):

A maximum of 60 non-residential credits can be applied to an undergraduate degree at Naropa University.

Of the 15 credits required by the Bhutan Study Abroad program, 6 credits will be considered non-residential credits.

Students must consult with an academic advisor to determine eligibility to participate in the Bhutan Study Abroad Program without hindering the completion of major and/or core requirements in a timely manner.
